Our friendly team members

Colin is ”the big boss”, he decided to take on the cafe as a new venture. Colin is a construction site manager of many years and is a qualified carpenter by trade. Colin enjoys family holidays and classic films.

Chris is joint owner with her husband Colin. Before taking on Koffee & Cake Chris worked in a children’s nursery for 13 years. Outside of work Chris enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her two lovely grandchildren Oliver and Ella.

Beth is Chris’ daughter and is manager within the shop. Beth has a hospitality background but also has a keen interest in horses outside of work. Beth has her own horse who she competed until he retired recently. Beth also enjoys netball and is captain of her team.

Rosie has over 5 years of café experience. She fitted into our team like family and is one of our main baristas. Alongside work Rosie graduated from her Masters degree in Care of Collections. She also enjoys family time and being outdoors.

Tracey was so passionate about what we do that she joined Koffee & Cake to be close to her favourites (a jammy dodger blondie!). Tracey has a background in horticulture, animal care and childcare. She loves nurturing all living things and adores animals especially cats and likes meeting new and existing customers with their dogs!

Dan is Colin’s son. He is currently a student at Nottingham University but enjoys nothing more than a good night out with his mates. Dan also enjoys football and the gym. You will see Dan from time to time helping us out during busy periods and he also helped massively as a barista during the first few months of our takeover.

Hannah has been a long standing Koffee & Cake team member, she was here before us! You will mainly see her in the shop with us on Sundays.

Hannah‘s hobbies outside work include kick boxing, musical theatre and playing guitar.
